WHEN YOU START TO READ GOD’S WORD, IT’S FILLED WITH OUR IDENTITY. WHO WE ARE. NOT EVERYONE'S GOING TO LIKE YOU. I CANNOT LET PEOPLE DETERMINE WHO I AM, WHAT I DO, WHAT I SAY, AND WHAT I BECOME.

THAT IS WHAT ILLUSTRATIONS DO. THEY OPEN UP THE WINDOWS AND LET LIGHT IN. YOU DON'T WANT A SERMON WITH ALL WINDOWS, OR A SERMON WITH NO WINDOWS.

SUBJECT: THE WORD OR GROUP OF WORDS OF WHICH SOMETHING IS SAID OR ASSERTED. VERB: A WORD USED TO TELL OR ASSERT SOMETHING ABOUT SOME PERSON, PLACE, OR THING. DIRECT OBJECT: PERSON OR THING DIRECTLY AFFECTED BY THE ACTION OF THE VERB.

Sometimes you were publicly exposed to insult and persecution; at other times you stood side by side with those who were so treated. You suffered along with those in prison and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property, because you knew that you yourselves had better and lasting possessions. So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. For, “In just a little while, he who is coming will come and will not delay.” And, But we do not belong to those who shrink back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved. TWO ARE BETTER THAN ONE, BECAUSE THEY HAVE A GOOD RETURN FOR THEIR WORK. IF ONE FALLS DOWN, HIS FRIEND CAN HELP HIM UP. BUT PITY THE MAN WHO FALLS AND HAS NO ONE TO HELP HIM UP!
